Our "Farm Family" of employees is committed to providing not only an educational experience, but also a fun-filled one for all who visit the Farm regardless of whether it is Spring, Summer or Fall.

'FALL FUN' on the Farm!

School Tours

The School FALL Tours include going on a Hayride picking out a school-sized Pumpkin to take home, walking through the Sorghum Path, crawling through the Straw Tunnels, feeding the Animals, playing the Musical 'Chair'acters game and digging in the Dino Dig for $4.00 a child; adult chaperones are FREE. A minimum of 12 is necessary for a reservation on Tuesdays through Fridays during October.

'SPRING FUN' on the Farm!

The School Spring Tours include going on a Hayride with stops at the Asparagus and Strawberry Fields, planting a *Bean Seed in the field, crawling through the Straw Tunnels, feeding the Animals, receiving classroom instruction about growing, taking home a small Coloring Book and a *Deed* for $4.00 a child; adult chaperones are FREE. A minimum of *12 is necessary for a reservation on Wednesdays-Fridays during May and June. (By phoning first, this *deed* allows the child to return in July and August to pick a basket of green beans FREE!)

'SUMMER FUN' on the Farm!

The School SUMMER Tours include going on a Hayride with stops at a couple of fields to show what is growing, harvesting a few Strawberries, Raspberries or Blueberries depending on the season, crawling through the Straw Tunnels and feeding the Animals, for $4.00 a child; adult chaperones are FREE. A minimum of *12 is necessary for a reservation on Tuesdays-Fridays during July and August.

'SCHOOLHOUSE and FARM' Tour

Nottawa Fruit Farm and the Nottawa Stone School have formed a partnership that adds a new dimension to customary school tours. This 'combination' tour is geared to grades three through six. The teacher may conduct his/her school's curriculum or utilize historical resources in the preserved 1870 one-room school (up to a half day), and then come to the Farm for a Fall School Tour. Both sites have excellent dining facilities for the day-long trip.

Stone School

The SCHOOLHOUSE & FARM Tour is aimed at grades three-six and includes going on a Hayride, picking out a school-sized Pumpkin to take home, walking through the Sorghum Path, crawling in the Straw Tunnels, feeding the Animals, walking in the *Wheel of Fun, attempting the *Balloon Slingshot all for $5.00 a child; adult chaperones are FREE. A minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 is necessary for a reservation on Wednesdays-Fridays during September and October. *Age-appropriate activities can be substituted, if needed. Your day at the Stone School is funded by the St Joseph County Intermediate School District; consequently, you will pay only for the part of the tour at the farm--TWO field trips for the price of ONE!
