Petting Farm
The "Petting Farm" at Nottawa Fruit Farm is located adjacent to the Farm Market parking lot. It is a federally-licensed facility and is open to the public during regular business hours - May thru October, Tuesdays-Sundays, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, closed on Mondays. There is no admission charge. Stop in and meet all of our farm animal friends who are all named and will usually respond to being called. They, like people, thrive on lots of attention. Unlike many petting farms who borrow animals for the season, all of the animals reside here at the Farm year round. It is a known fact that all ages enjoy the animals and their antics, so don't let your age deter you from visiting. Please remember the Petting Farm is not open to visitors during the Farm Market's closed hours and months.
Meet Some of Nottawa Fruit Farm's Friends:

The Petting Farm animal friends all have distinctive personalities that regular farm visitors have come to recognize. Our most popular animal friend is Jake, a miniature horse, is just as feisty as he is beautiful; children love to use the old-fashioned pitcher pump to give him a drink. Meet Ursula who is a fallow deer who will never lose her spots. We lost Orphan Annie, our gentle white tail deer, this spring due to cancer of the jaw; she had been with us for 11 years. Competing buddies, Sylvester and Ferdinand, are two extremely friendly goats who reside in the Petting Barn next to Lucybelle, the huge sheep who seems to bleat constantly! We have a new addition this year; he is a registered Shetland Pony named Moonshine. Oh, yes, there are a 'bizillion' cats in the barn, too. Frack is a miniature donkey, who is not really very minature, who lives across the road and will most definitely "hee haw" you a welcome! Please remember the Petting Farm is not open to visitors during the Farm Market's closed hours and months.
Our 'farm family' is committed to providing FUN for you and your family.
